Two to four weeks for a working office. Allow longer if the move has to happen over a single weekend, or if the building only allows after-hours access — there are only so many of those slots and we plan crews around them. A small office at short notice is often still possible, and you will know within 15 minutes.

Beyond the hourly rate there is a fuel charge: $50 for a crew of 2 or 3, more for a crew of 4 or more, since the truck seats only 3 and the rest of the crew needs additional transportation. The minimum charge covers up to the first 3 hours of work; after that, time is billed in 15-minute increments. The rates include up to 15 miles of travel, and anything weighing 250 lbs or more — a safe, a large copier — carries an additional heavy-item fee. The crew's protective materials — blankets, shrink wrap, straps, floor protection — are part of the service. Boxes, paper, bubble wrap, tape and labels are sold separately; for an office we can deliver them a few days ahead so staff can pack their own desks before the crew arrives.

If the weather conditions are extreme, like heavy rain, snow, or ice, it's better to postpone the move to ensure everyone's safety. However, if moving in poor weather is unavoidable, it's important to be well-prepared. Make sure all pathways are clear and safe. Use protective coverings like tarps or plastic covers to keep your belongings dry. Be prepared for possible delays in loading, unloading, and transportation due to bad weather. Plan your schedule with these delays in mind.
