How we quote it

1. You tell us where and when. Both addresses and your target date — by phone, chat or the form. We will say within 15 minutes whether the dates work.
2. You pick how we survey it — on-site or virtual. Both take under an hour and both end in the same written bid.
3. Video walkthrough and inventory list. We record the home and list what is moving, room by room, including the garage, the attic and anything in storage. That list is what your bid is built on — and it is yours, so nothing is disputed later.
4. You get a written bid. Everything we agreed is in it, in writing, before anything is booked.
5. One crew, start to finish. Our people load your things, drive them and unload them. Nothing gets transferred to another truck on the way.

Two ways to get your estimate

Both are free, both take under an hour, and both produce the same video record, the same inventory list and the same written bid. A virtual estimate is accepted for these moves — it is not a shortcut version.

Why we survey first

Over the phone, a three-bedroom house can mean anything from a sparse rental to thirty years of accumulation in the same rooms. Across a hundred miles, that difference is the whole job: the size of the truck, the crew, the day. Anyone who gives you a firm number for a cross-state move without seeing the house is guessing, and the correction usually arrives when your things are already loaded.

Washington also requires a mover to inspect the goods, in person or by video, before a move like this. We would do it anyway — it is the only way the number we give you is the number you pay. Which is also why the virtual option is a real one: what matters is that somebody has actually seen the house.

Not on the list? If both addresses are in Washington, it is a job we can do. We do not take moves across the state line.

Before the estimate

• Nothing needs packing or tidying — we need to see the real state of things.
• Doing it virtually? Charge your phone and plan a route through the rooms; we will talk you through it.
• Open up the garage, the attic, the crawlspace and the shed; that is where the surprises live.
• Tell us about anything in a storage unit, so it goes on the list too.
• Say what is not coming with you, so we do not price things you are selling or giving away.
• Mention stairs, a long walk to the truck, a gated community or a lift at either end.
• Flag anything heavy or awkward — appliances, a safe, a workshop, a piano.
