How we quote it
- You tell us where and when. Both addresses and your target date — by phone, chat or the form. We will say within 15 minutes whether the dates work.
- You pick how we survey it — on-site or virtual. Both take under an hour and both end in the same written bid.
- Video walkthrough and inventory list. We record the home and list what is moving, room by room, including the garage, the attic and anything in storage. That list is what your bid is built on — and it is yours, so nothing is disputed later.
- You get a written bid. Everything we agreed is in it, in writing, before anything is booked.
- One crew, start to finish. Our people load your things, drive them and unload them. Nothing gets transferred to another truck on the way.
Two ways to get your estimate
Both are free, both take under an hour, and both produce the same video record, the same inventory list and the same written bid. A virtual estimate is accepted for these moves — it is not a shortcut version.
Why we survey first
Over the phone, a three-bedroom house can mean anything from a sparse rental to thirty years of accumulation in the same rooms. Across a hundred miles, that difference is the whole job: the size of the truck, the crew, the day. Anyone who gives you a firm number for a cross-state move without seeing the house is guessing, and the correction usually arrives when your things are already loaded.
Washington also requires a mover to inspect the goods, in person or by video, before a move like this. We would do it anyway — it is the only way the number we give you is the number you pay. Which is also why the virtual option is a real one: what matters is that somebody has actually seen the house.

Before the estimate
- Nothing needs packing or tidying — we need to see the real state of things.
- Doing it virtually? Charge your phone and plan a route through the rooms; we will talk you through it.
- Open up the garage, the attic, the crawlspace and the shed; that is where the surprises live.
- Tell us about anything in a storage unit, so it goes on the list too.
- Say what is not coming with you, so we do not price things you are selling or giving away.
- Mention stairs, a long walk to the truck, a gated community or a lift at either end.
- Flag anything heavy or awkward — appliances, a safe, a workshop, a piano.
Questions about moving across the state
Do you move from Seattle to Spokane?
Yes — Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Vancouver WA, Bellingham, Wenatchee, Yakima and everywhere between. We work within Washington State, so a move that stays inside the state is our normal work rather than something we hand to a partner.
Why does a long-distance move need a survey at all?
Because guessing the size of a household over the phone is how people end up with a number that changes on moving day. We walk the home with you — on-site or over a video call — record it and build an inventory list, and the written bid comes from that. State rules also require a mover to inspect the goods, in person or by video, before a move like this.
How long does the estimate take?
Usually under an hour for a house, less for an apartment. You do not need to tidy or pack anything first — we need to see what is actually there, including the garage, the attic and anything in storage.
What is a virtual estimate?
The same walkthrough as an on-site visit, done over a video call on your phone: we guide you room by room, record it and build the inventory list from it. It is accepted for these moves, it is free, and it usually happens the same or the next day. For a full house with a packed garage or workshop, on-site still tends to be the more accurate of the two.
Which should I choose, on-site or virtual?
Virtual if you are out of town, short on time or moving out of a rental with not much in it. On-site if it is a house with years of accumulation, a garage, a workshop or an attic — that is where things get missed on camera. Either way you get the same video record, inventory list and written bid.
How far ahead should I book?
For a move across the state, the earlier the better — two to four weeks gives you a choice of dates, and summer and the end of the month fill first. If your timeline is shorter than that, call anyway and we will tell you straight away what is possible.
Do you move out of state?
No. We work within Washington only, so an interstate move is not something we take on. If you are crossing the state line, we will tell you that on the first call rather than after a survey.
Does the same crew load and unload?
Yes. Your things stay on our truck with our crew from the first box to the last — no transfers, no shared trailer, no waiting for a load to fill up.
