Inside the oven and the fridge are already part of a move-out clean — add them to a standard or deep clean if you want them done.
Why book it with the move
- The timing is already solved. We know when the truck will be out, so the cleaners are not standing in a hallway full of boxes.
- One company, one phone number. If the day slips, both halves move together instead of you renegotiating twice.
- The deposit is the point. A move-out clean is the difference between an inspection that passes and one that costs you more than the clean would have.
- Leaving rubbish behind? Junk removal on the same day saves another trip back.
Cleaning questions
Can you clean on the same day as the move?
That is the usual way round: the truck empties the place, the cleaners come in behind it and the keys go back the same evening. Book both together and we line the two up so nobody is waiting on anybody.
What does a clean cost?
It goes by the size of the home and the level of clean, not by the hour, so the number is settled before anyone starts. A standard clean starts at $185; a move-out clean starts at $430 for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom home and rises with bedrooms and bathrooms. Extras like the inside of a fridge or oven are priced separately.
Do I have to be moving with you to book cleaning?
No. Plenty of cleans have nothing to do with a move — a deep clean before guests, a regular fortnightly visit, a place being handed back after a tenancy. Call and book it on its own.
Who actually does the cleaning?
A cleaning crew we work with regularly, booked and coordinated through us. You deal with one company for the move and the clean, and one number if anything needs sorting out.
Is the price on this page final?
It is the price for a home of that size in normal condition. Square footage, how much has built up, pets and how recently it was last cleaned can all move it — a first clean is often more work than the one after it. If your place is going to land outside the list, we tell you before the day, not after.
Will it pass a landlord inspection?
That is what the move-out level is for: inside cabinets, inside the oven and fridge, closets, baseboards and every floor. Tell us if your building or property manager has a checklist and we will work to it.
How far ahead should I book?
A few days is usually enough, and same week is often fine. End of month is the busiest stretch, because that is when every lease ends — if your move-out date is the 30th or the 31st, book early.
